About Concord Consortium Memberships

Please read the following to learn more about Concord Consortium memberships, their benefits and our reasons for using them.

Benefits

Currently, Concord Memberships allow you to do the following:

  • Subscribe to E-mail and Print newsletters
  • Subscribe/Unsubscribe to Mailing Lists
  • Download Members Only Software

As Concord introduces new services, new benefits will be added to the members area.

Why?

We understand that people are often suspicious of "free memberships" so we'd like to take a moment to discuss why we're using them.

The Concord Consortium is a non-profit organization funded by grants. We need to convince our funders that we are filling a need. Tracking your interest in our work, through software downloads, newsletter subscriptions, etc., is one way of doing that.

We are not ever planning to charge for the services available in our member area, nor will we misuse any personal information you choose to provide to us (see our privacy policy for more details).

If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail info@concord.org.

Next Steps

If you already have a membership, you can go to the members area now or login at the right.

If not, you can create a new membership. You need only provide a valid e-mail address to start.

A Sample VideoPaper

A Sample VideoPaper
This classroom episode is part of an Advanced Algebra course at the Jeremiah Burke High School in Boston, Mass. Because the class is bilingual, speaking Cape Verdean Creole and English, the students' gestures are important in understanding their discussion and explanations. This VideoPaper focuses on their use of gestures.

Our VideoPaper Builder software allows you to easily create a web-based multimedia presentation.
